80’s Night!

My fellow Gen-Xers are used to it though, having grown up as latchkey kids. Let’s take it back Thursday night to that other time when were were stuck at home with nothing do do and enjoy my adaptation of some songs we heard on the radio in those days!

Heart and Stroke Foundation Fundraiser

As BC’s top talent gathers to raise money for the Heart and Stroke Foundation, we will be a live jukebox allowing the audience to choose the songs and artists, and then we come up to entertain!

Roads Unknown with Ryan Barnes at The Railyard

Ahh yes!! It’s that time of year again. Time for a Roads Unknown show to share their new musical creations with you. This powerhouse foursome have so much skill, precision, and emotion rolled up into their relaxed on stage act. They really do sound and feel like a 6 piece when your in the same room!!

The genesis of Roads Unknown was the duo formed by Michael Jantzen (vocals and acoustic guitar) and Tony Ivan O’Hara (vocals and electric guitar) in the spring of 2015. Within a year they were joined by Fraser Valley fiddle phenomenon, Jennie Bice, and precision bassist, Solomon Janzen.

They quickly became known for performing originals that are catchy and relate-able, delivered with sweet harmonies and soaring instrumentation. Listeners can expect wistful lyrics and playful banter as the band performs their eclectic blend of folk, country, and blues that’s hard to define, but somehow, always feels like home.
